Fulham Solar Farm and Battery Project
Fulham Solar Farm and Battery is a 80MW solar farm with 128MWh of battery storage located in Fulham, Victoria. The project entered construction in April 2025 and is expected to be operational in 2027.
Fulham’s innovative hybrid configuration allows the battery to charge directly from the solar farm when sunshine is abundant and dispatch energy to homes and businesses when it’s needed, enhancing local grid reliability while supporting Victoria’s clean energy transition.
The project is also backed by a power purchase agreement from the Victorian State Government awarded under the Second Victorian Renewable Energy Target Auction.
Location
Fulham Solar Farm and Battery is located on the corner of Hopkins Road and McLarens Road in Fulham, approximately 200 km east of Melbourne. Covering around 400 acres of mostly flat, cleared land.
